At what age did you know you were an artist? What was the first work of art you created?
1968 with the age of 31. I participated in a worldwide photo contest of the (then) German top magazine TWEN. The b+w portrait of a girl won 2nd Prize and was published in TWEN. The double page with my photograph won an award the same year by the prestigious ART Directors Club New York. As a result, I was invited to work for the magazine - which was the start of my career.
