Of Beauty and Being

Chem and Reid presents an exhibit by collaborative artists McDermott and McGough who are known for re-imaging different historical eras and styles. In this show, the artists focus on the 1940s and 1950s, referencing the advertisements that targeted women during that time. Their photographs are printed with a technique perfected during the 30s and 40s which emphasized immaculate staging and saturated hues.
