"BALENCIAGA: SPANISH MASTER" at New York's Queen Sofia Spanish Institute

New York's QUEEN SOFIA SPANISH INSTITUTE is hosting "Balenciaga: Spanish Master", a retrospective of designs by the late fashion maven, through February 19, 2011. The show features more than 70 garments and accessories by Cristobal Balenciaga whom Christian Dior called "the master of us all". "Balenciaga: Spanish Master" is the work of many of fashion's living legends. It was conceived by Oscar de la Renta, it was curated by Vogue's European Editor-At-Large, Hamish Bowles and set designer Stefan Beckman took the lead on the exhibition design.
