KiptonART Artist Liliya Lifanova was born and raised in the former USSR. Her matrix of influence developed out of the ongoing political and socio-economic reforms of the country and the nomadic lifestyle and customs of the Kyrgyz Land. After immigrating to the United States, Lifanova received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the City University of New York and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2010.
