Tools for Thought Raises Funds for Haiti

Last night we trekked uptown to Sotheby's for the Tools for Thought Benefit to help rebuild Haiti. We are pleasantly surprised to find that there does not seem to be any benefit exhaustion for this cause, because as we all know, they need all the help we can get. Tools for the Thought is just the first of several efforts to unite the art community to help provide aid and support those in need.

Our group included Emma Snowdon-Jones, Anisha Lakhani and Naeem Delbridge. We entered the space and were struck by the dozens of pieces of artwork donated to the cause. We bid on a Jeff Koons piece that was off to  one corner but no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't stop others from seeing it and were soon out bid and out priced. Since all proceeds are going to charity we aren't bitter.
