Art Must See: Event Horizon

Public art is a funny thing: it can be the safest and least interesting art on the planet, so low key and quiet that it is hardly ever noticed.  Public art can be misguided, thinking that it is achieving one things, while barely approaching the level that it strives to engage the viewer on.  And once in awhile, a public art installation comes along that transcends the idea of being art presented in public. It becomes art that uses the public space it inhabits as a unique and priceless canvas.
