Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Carolina Herrera

The women longing for choices other than the minimal approach seen this season can look to the sensational designs by Carolina Herrera. Here is a collection that is bold rather than safe, enforcing the entire purpose of getting gussied up and looking beautiful. The Venezuelan's collection early Monday morning was a recipe of all things wonderful. Construction, color, and prints of floral paintings and embroidery were a relief compared to the stark functioning fashion on other runways.
Those attending included: Anna Wintour, Chiara Clemente, Fran Leibovitz, Cece Cord, Peter Lyden, J. Alexander, Mary Alice Stephenson, Lee Radziwell, and Tory Burch
