ART TALK with Socialite Annabel Vartanian

Who are your favorite KiptonART artists? Why?
My favorite KiptonART artists include: Jeannie Rusten, Audrey Anastasi, Matthew Satz and of course Julie Combal.

What was the last exhibition you saw?
The last exhibit I attended was Look Again at the Marlborough Gallery in Chelsea. I also recently saw Slash: Paper Under the Knife at the Museum of Art and Design. On my list is the Damien Hirst exhibit, End of an Era at the Gagosian Gallery on Madison Avenue.

How would you describe your decor at home?
I love mixing antiques with contemporary pieces. I'm currently digging the color gray, using different shades of the color looks very chic. I also like to throw in a few art deco pieces to make a strong statement.

Which artists have influenced or inspired you in your life?
The artist that has most influenced me over the years would have to be Irving Penn along with many of the great Impressionists: Van Gogh, Degas, and Monet. I enjoy works by Klimt and Kandinsky, the former because he paints beautiful redheads!
