Deitch Dealer Directs MOCA


New York art dealer extraordinaire Jeffrey Deitch of Deitch Projects is tackling a new project on the West Coast, taking over Los Angeles's Museum of Contemporary Art as director. It is no secret that MOCA has needed some new direction with the coming decade having been both in debt and stale among other modern galleries in the city. It is rumored that after giving $30 million to the museum, former chairman Eli Broad handpicked Deitch to fill the position.
