Movie Review: James Cameron's AVATAR starring Sigourney Weaver & Sam Worthington

What took God seven days to create, took James Cameron fifteen years of imagination, patience and major backers (estimated cost of production including marketing is anywhere between 250-400 million). The world of Pandora is as real as our own encompassed by lush jungles, cascading waterfalls and the Hallelujah Mountains, a rigorous terrain of free-floating cliffs in the sky. Though set in the far future of 2154 the premise is familiar, with American ideologies like "we must fight terror with terror" being heard in the dialogue. Symbolic themes of imperialism, war and environmental issues make a deep impact, especially if you see it in 3D Imax. Starring Sigourney Weaver and Sam Worthington.
