Tied Up at Carlos Miele

"Finally a bit of color,” gushed Keren Eldad (who seems to be my seat partner this week at the shows) as the collection began. Most Spring/Summer shows have started with hues of soft pale primaries while adding sporadic shocks of shades in the mix towards the finale. Alternatively, Carlos Miele's line was comparable to a familiar sunset: beginning with a bright luminescence and finishing suddenly with a blur of an unrecognizable and lost horizon.
