Olympic Support for Molly Surno's "12 Instances"
Last night, Heist Gallery owner Talia Eisenberg hosted an opening reception for the gallery’s newest exhibition, “12 Instances.” “12 Instances” is a group exhibition of Polaroids curated by photographer Molly Surno and explores photography’s first medium of “instant gratification” and “immediacy” before the dawn of the digital age. Eisenberg is one of a few galleries actually creating energy in the art scene right now and it's refreshing for us all. Talia wore a dress by designer Keith Lissner who is making waves on his new Bravo series, "The Fashion Show." Other attendees included olympic skater Oksana Baiul, curator Molly Surno, Mark Langrish, Annabel Vartanian and many other new fans of Surno's work. Surno's “12 Instances” will be on exhibition at Heist Gallery, 27 Essex Street, from May 13- June 17th, Wednesday through Sunday, 12 -6pm.
