Rauschenberg's unknown metals

A year after the death of Robert Rauschenberg, The Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice celebrates his memory by opening the exhibition "Robert Rauschenberg: Gluts". This exhibition presents a body of work in which Rauschenberg worked in metal. Comprised of 40 works drawn from the holdings of the Rauschenberg Estate, also included are additional loans from various institutions and private collections in the United States and abroad. This exhibition will be on view May 30th through September 20th, 2009.
